Brown Cow, rather than go to the trouble of mixing your own feed you could just use oats to replace some of the cake. It depends a bit on the rest of the diet but 1lb of cake and a1lb of oats in the last week would probably be fine. Obviously if you wanted to replace all the cake you would need to mix in soya, minerals and perhaps some barley or wheat with the oats. Some feed rep would be able to suggest a ration but honestly think the first option would be OK.
